Maligne Canyon (just outside Jasper) for the summer and stayed with my friend and her family at Lake Edith. The bears were there daily and I had to shoo tourist away from a picnic table that one brave bear decided to take over lunch. The people had totally encircled the bear for pics but had he looked up he would have seen he was trapped and someone could have gotten hurt. I grew up in the wilderness so bears did not bother me.
