....if you have some space for a small garden, plant some mexican sunflower (Tithonia rotundifolia). it's a fast growing annual that makes a ton of daisy sized orange and yellow composite blooms that hummingbirds (and butterflies) cannot resist. depending on where you are, they should reseed and keep growing throughout the growing season and possibly every year. if not, seeds are easy to harvest and keep to replant.

i had them in my yard in austin, tx and the hummers were constantly bickering over the territory and there was always several buzzing around the yard all day.
