I primarily do put black oil sunflower seeds in my feeders. I think I am going to do some research and see if these little guys are indigenous to our area. I would be thrilled to see them!

I get so much joy watching the variety of birds we see every day. We have titmice, bluebirds, cardinals, robins, chickadees, blue jays, doves, owls, woodpeckers, mockingbirds, and many finches. The bluebirds will sit on the electric wire and scope out our front yard for bugs and then quickly swoop down for a meal! I think they are such pretty birds. We can also hear the owls calling to one another when our windows are open in the evening.

Birds have brought a lot of joy to my life during this pandemic.
