I lost most of the glass I had collected over 30 some years in a house fire in 2007. I've always especially loved colored glass. My grandmother had a turn of the 19th to 20th century amberina glass vase that I hoped to have but my brother and his wife took it when our parents significantly downsized. I bought this piece for my new house and so far I've really enjoyed it. But today it knocked my socks off.
