I may be referring to "digital noise."

Thanks for your critique of the photos! When I ran the first photo through PS Pro, to produce the second photo, I was hoping to fix a couple of things that I felt needed fixing.

I'm still learning this software (there's a lot of it!) so when I can get it to give me exactly what I want...well, that's cause for rejoicing!
