I actually counted 17 commercials in one break. I watched a show yesterday that had commercials every five minutes. It's getting to be Commercial TV with a little bit of show in between. Then you have the informational/entertainment shows that keep repeating what's coming up, so that by the time we see it, there's little difference in what they've been showing as coming up. And they repeat what they said before the commercial, which boggles my mind. So, break it down and we may get 15 minute show for an hour slot. I do have TIVO, but there are times I want to watch the show cause it's on now, but I get so frustrated I just end up recording it and get up and do something else, then come back to it. They don't realize that less is more. In other words, we didn't mind fewer commercials cause we had enough show to make up for it and it gave us time to go to the fridge or stay and watch cause it was bearable and commercials were often funny. Now you're taking quality show away from us and we don't want to watch any of it. Oftentimes, I just give up and turn the tv off. How's that for your tv watchership.
