The production values are amazing, like a Cornwall travel video.

But I still prefer the 1975 version. It was mostly filmed on set, with little of the beautiful exterior shots of Poldark 2015. However, Poldark 1975 spent more time on the secondary characters, giving a much broader sense of life in the 1780s, and helping me to understand Ross' character and decisions. And Robin Ellis was pretty easy on the eyes, too!
