Winds of change? [View all]

Today in my far west valley very large senior community (you know the one), 3 library patrons in a row (I was the 3rd) walked past a publican party canvasser who was inviting signatures and each said "I'm not a Republican" When I entered the library, the volunteer near the door asked what was going on outside. When I told her, she said " Oh well, I'm not a Republican." Now this doesn't mean they're all Democrats, but believe me, 20 years ago when I moved here, NOBODY said they weren't Republicans (except me and DH).
