It's a hard choice for me - I contributed to Gwen Graham's campaign for US Representative and as a result was invited to her birthday party, which was sort of an unofficial declaration of her run several months ago. My brother in law worked in her campaign office in Panama City and went to the party with my husband and I.
The major reason she did not run for re-election as US Rep was the gerrymandering took a lot of the parts of Leon County that put her over the top the first time she ran. For instance, my part of Leon is now in District 5 which was represented by Corrine Brown and is now represented by Al Lawson of Tallahassee. I would have voted for Gwen again if they had fucked up the districts.
On the other hand, Andrew Gillum is a home town guy for me. He was on the list as a possible VP for Hillary Clinton. He's been a good administrator for Tallahassee and is a real solid Democrat.
It's going to be a very had choice for me to make between those two, if either of them make it to the primaries.
