Some of these machines that print a paper total and have memory cards are rigged to flip the votes on both so they match a fraudulent result... that is the point why these machines can not be trusted... unless you are talking about fill in the dot paper ballots that you hand counted and compared the hand count of individual fill in the dot paper ballots dropped into a ballot box that were scanned by comparing a hand count to a scan count because even the venders scanners can be hacked to flip votes and not count properly as by being hacked and having a malicious virus installed ...
This was proven and demonstrated on a Diebold scanner that counted fill in the dot ballots... unless the ballots would of been hand counted and compared to the scanner count the fraud of flipping votes from one to another which they wanted to win would never be found... so, if the only way to verify the count is to hand count, why use a machine in the first place if you are never going to hand count to make sure any particular machine may of been rigged?
