I certainly agree! Rachel did a detailed report about this... Rhiannon12866 Jul 2014 #2
No this is fine. it is important enough for a new thread. hrmjustin Jul 2014 #3
Thanks! I thought this was important... Rhiannon12866 Jul 2014 #4
Yeah you guys have more of an issue in the Capitol region. hrmjustin Jul 2014 #5
Yes, seems like we have a lot of railroad tracks around here. Rhiannon12866 Jul 2014 #6
The Amtrak trains north of Albany have to go slow because the tracks are falling apart. hrmjustin Jul 2014 #7
I'm not surprised. The roads aren't in great shape, either, and don't get me started on the bridges. Rhiannon12866 Jul 2014 #8
I saw a report that said only 14 percent of the bridges in ups4ate ny were structually unsound. hrmjustin Jul 2014 #9
It was a hot issue just a few years ago, bridges I cross were on the unsafe list Rhiannon12866 Jul 2014 #10
this is a shame that our country is not investing in itself. hrmjustin Jul 2014 #11
It's just crazy that not much was done after major bridges collapsed. Rhiannon12866 Jul 2014 #12
And cuomo is No help at all. hrmjustin Jul 2014 #13
He certainly can't hold a candle to his father Rhiannon12866 Jul 2014 #14
Yeah I guess it could be worse but that is not saying much. hrmjustin Jul 2014 #15
No, it's not, but I voted for him. Rhiannon12866 Jul 2014 #16
I worry he will reverse course on fracking next term. hrmjustin Jul 2014 #17
That's a big fear of mine, as well. Rhiannon12866 Jul 2014 #18
I was so glad to see the court ruling that allows municipalities to ban fracking. hrmjustin Jul 2014 #19
latest fracking ruling. hrmjustin Jul 2014 #23
Great find! Took me a second read to figure out what this meant, though, LOL Rhiannon12866 Jul 2014 #24
the rain is moving out now but there wax major flooding here and will get worse tomorrow. hrmjustin Jul 2014 #25
I thought it's been bad here, but there was severe flooding south of Albany, saw it on the news Rhiannon12866 Jul 2014 #26
It is still pouring but the radar said it is ending. At least it is not as hot as it was. hrmjustin Jul 2014 #27
Sounds like what it was like here yesterday, came down incredibly hard, must be moving south Rhiannon12866 Jul 2014 #28
That stinks. I hear the polar votex has come back. hrmjustin Jul 2014 #29
Something very unusual is happening. I can't remember such severe weather all at once Rhiannon12866 Jul 2014 #30
But the gop say no global warming. hrmjustin Jul 2014 #31
Because it still gets cold in the winter! Rhiannon12866 Jul 2014 #32
Inholfe of Ok is the ringleader of the anti-science brigade. hrmjustin Jul 2014 #33
Figures, but unfortunately he's one of many Rhiannon12866 Jul 2014 #34
They are paid to do that. hrmjustin Jul 2014 #35
I keep remembering Chuck Grassley's speech on the "death panels" that are going to kill Grandma... Rhiannon12866 Jul 2014 #36
And Bush when he said the jury is still out on evolution. hrmjustin Jul 2014 #37
ROFL! Well, from his perspective, he may have been left a little behind... Rhiannon12866 Jul 2014 #38
too funny! hrmjustin Jul 2014 #39
That was one of the first Bushisms! Rhiannon12866 Jul 2014 #40
He was comedy gold for the comedians. hrmjustin Jul 2014 #41
I wouldn't be surprised if they were hoping he'd be around for a second term Rhiannon12866 Jul 2014 #42
Bill Maher has gotten less funny over time. hrmjustin Jul 2014 #43
His "New Rules" is usually pretty good Rhiannon12866 Jul 2014 #44

Glad to hear it. we will not be on for election day unless they hold our term over for longer. hrmjustin Jul 2014 #54
Yes, LOL, I've been trying to figure out the timing... Rhiannon12866 Jul 2014 #55
I am not sure how I feel about it but I think Sept and Oct should be hectic. hrmjustin Jul 2014 #56
From my experience, the disagreements leading up to the election are the worst. Rhiannon12866 Jul 2014 #57
Yea it will be busy but I am game for it. hrmjustin Jul 2014 #58
Me, too! Rhiannon12866 Jul 2014 #59
I think when the news cycle gets into gear after Labor Day it will get busy. hrmjustin Jul 2014 #60
I agree with you, though it won't be as bad because it's all local. Rhiannon12866 Jul 2014 #61
Christie will be indicted by next summer so he won't run. hrmjustin Jul 2014 #62
Was it Jon Stewart who said that the top three are all going to be under indictment?? Rhiannon12866 Jul 2014 #63
Not sure but Walker will get away with it but Christie is in trouble. hrmjustin Jul 2014 #64
Christie's ego will be his downfall. Rhiannon12866 Jul 2014 #65
Mitt will only run is there is no Christie and Bush. hrmjustin Jul 2014 #66
Like in 2008, I wouldn't be surprised if the nominee is someone we haven't heard of yet Rhiannon12866 Jul 2014 #67
Could be. I tend to think Hillary will be our candidate. hrmjustin Jul 2014 #68
She's not as liberal as most of us would like, but we could do worse Rhiannon12866 Jul 2014 #69
I hope a primary will turn her more to the left. hrmjustin Jul 2014 #70

He was a good reporter but he is just so annoying. hrmjustin Jul 2014 #77
I never turn on CNN. I had an issue with them back in 2005, I think Rhiannon12866 Jul 2014 #78
Is Al Jazeera live in the night. The pause in Gaza should be starting now. hrmjustin Jul 2014 #80
Thanks for the reminder! I should tune in after Seth Meyers, LOL. Rhiannon12866 Jul 2014 #82
Is Al Jazeera live overnight? hrmjustin Jul 2014 #83
