evaluate the minor leaguers and many of them were former players themselves, so I met a lot of them. (Harmon Killebrew, Enos Slaughter, Duke Snider and a few other famour ones) one day I met this guy Earl Johnson picthed for the 1946 REd Sox on their World Series team that year. He told me had a box of cards in his parents attic and they just died and he wanted to get rid of them. (about 3,000 cards) So he asked me if I wanted them and of course I did.
