3. he doesn't believe it makes a difference.

but the other night we got to the issue of the supreme court and i think he started to see the light at that point. he's also stubbornly averse to recognizing that the acceleration of global warming is attributable to human activity. believe it or not he is highly intelligent, so i am at a loss to explain these glitches. but he is one person i can talk to and try to persuade so with him i will never give up hope.
