9. At least you're not from Jersey.

When I lived there I had no identity at all for the area I lived in.

1. I had only one sports team. I could drive an hour and watch the Devils play. I could of course cross the street from there and watch 2 NY football teams.

2. If you did not live near NYC, Philly or the shore they had no clue where you were from.

3. We had forests, rivers and beautiful mountains. No one else seems to believe they exist.

4. I used to live in a very large town. Even in NJ I had to describe it as "the last exit in Jersey off 78 before you enter PA."

5. My "local" TV stations were a mix of TV stations from city's both over an hour and a half drive from the house. Did I mention neither were in my state.

6. The Jersey Shore tv show. Nuff said on that one.

I now live north of Philly. I still love NJ, and will continue to work there, but I like living in PA much better.
