It's the mixing of booze + probably taking way more of the two sleep-aids than Rx'D ... that did her in.

Phentermine is actually a stimulant, which probably masked the effects of the alcohol she'd been drinking. Then she got back to the hotel, and took 3 of these, and 2 of those ... just to make sure I get a good nights sleep! And boom ...
