There were a few people in line when I left. Polling place worker said how many had voted. I've already forgotten, but it was several hundred -- 600, 900.

As I walked past the party workers' tables on the way in, a small dog, a little white Shih Tzu kind of a thing, took offense and barked at me. On the way out, I saw it was the Republicans' dog. The pink bow should have given it away. I know they can detect Terminators.

I filled in my ballot with Monk-like precision. There's no way it didn't scan correctly.

It was dry and chilly; about 45 degrees F and 32% relative humidity. I had on a hoodie. Rain is forecast for mid-day. Don't let that stop you.

Vote as if your life depends on it. It does.
