I think that pulling another Charlottesville is not acceptable and Gov. Northam is making a sound decision.

I was in C-Ville when they were Downtown and marching/chanting with Tiki torches. Downtown there were hundreds of them holding automatic weapons and dressed military style. That was just insane, provocative and threatening, which was the point it seems.

It did not end well as with the skirmish and beatings in the parking facility and the tragic death of that young woman, Heather Heyer.

This is really an affront to peaceful protesters who do not bring weapons to their demonstrations and the civility of our society by making the holding and brandishing of a weapon in public without reservation a sign of protest or freedom. They most certainly are not.
