Chances are, it's the maid or the nanny who will have to get up early to boil water. Or, they'll just use bottled water until the tests come back clean. It's not going to affect bathing, toilet use, clothes washing, or any outdoor uses of water. And chances are, it is caused by a main break, allowing contaminated ground water to seep into the domestic water supply, not some incompetence of some Seattle utility worker.
