1. A bit off topic, but Tukwila always brings back a fond memory.

It's where my spouse lived when we met and married, a few decades ago. Before long, he wanted to return to his native state, the one just to the south of WA, and we've been here since. Still together after all these years--Tukwila got us off to a good start, I guess. Anyway, back on topic--I know someone who's employed at Peace Health in Bellingham, just dropped a note to ask about the strike, since there's not a word about it (that I could find) in their local newspapers. My contact did tell me there's a hiring freeze there, which doesn't bode well for the short-staffed issue, or the patients whose needs they meet. Thanks for this post--hope you'll keep us updated.
