3. Washington Bikes needs event volunteers

We're now recruiting volunteers for our annual auction fundraiser! The date is set for the evening of October 17th at the Marriott Waterfront Hotel. This is a very early notice, but we can use all the help we can get. You're also invited to join us for this month's Volunteer Work Party: a week from tomorrow, Thursday, August 27, from 1-4pm, in our office located at 314 First Avenue South. We hope you can join us to connect with fellow bicycling advocates and provide an invaluable help to our mission to support a bicycle-friendly state. We'll be preparing a couple of mailings, catching up -- and, of course, helping ourselves to an assortment of snacks.
