4. More bashing of "the left"?

Scapegoating does no good at all. It prevents productive thinking about strategy.

Barrett ran a meh, stand pat campaign in 2010 - Walker made false promises about job growth, but the boldness had an impact.The right was energized in an anti-Obama fever, and the Barrett campaign puts out a commercial of the candidate's injuries after the state fair incident. Hopefully the Democratic candidate this time will not run a stand pat campaign, assuming that they will get the vote instead of working to expand the base.

The only benefit of Barrett entering the race would be more news coverage.
