but if we can’t come up with a more viable candidate then we sorta deserve the almost inevitable result: four more years of Governor Scott K. Walker. You can’t run the Mayor of friggin Milwaukee in a statewide race and expect to win... and I say this as a proud native Milwaukeean. Running Soglin (Madison Mayor) would produce the same result for the same reason.

Running Barrett again would be like running Hillary again against Dump: both would be excellent in office, but neither is a viable candidate at this stage of the game.
