also claimed they didn't have to turn over any documents during the various lawsuits. That stems from similar shenanigans over the years where they used quasi-private entities for development projects etc. and then claimed exemption from Open Records law because they were not "government agencies". Eventually the courts insisted on records being released and surprise, surprise the law firm claimed the hard drives had been wiped clean somehow. I don't recall how the records snafu eventually concluded but it demonstrates that neither the Wisconsin GOP nor its' public/private partners are willing to be above board on almost any issue.
