My thinking is that the planning probably started Sunday afternoon. I don't see any big conspiracy here: She probably just realised how out of her depth she was and called it off. The rest is just good political instincts on behalf of the Tory Party - calling the announcement at the same time as Eagle's leadership announcement. Then eating up the rest of the day's news-cycle with news about the coronation.
