by a bad economics professor, but you do need to understand that rising wages are a lagging indicator of inflation. They don't cause inflation. They are a sign that inflation has already ocurred.

And once that sinks in a bit, maybe you can tackle the concept of the multiplier effect as income at the bottoim goes up, rather than the law of diminishing returns you get when it is lavished on the hoarding class.

Then we can start discussing the rest of this.

(BTW, it's odd that interest rate breaks never seem to cancel out the few pounds and pence escaping businessmen to pay their workforce. My; guess says they come close to canceling out)
