Just a couple of questions if you could help. [View all]

Do too many bookmarks slow down your computer? I have a lot of them and wonder if this is a bad thing. Most of the bookmarks are for reference.

Also, for some time I have been having trouble with my PSC (HP F4120). Cannot seem to get it to scan and now when I print, the print is so small that I can hardly read it. I tried to update the drivers and messed up the whole thing. I give up on that option. I can buy a new PSC now for about $30.00. Would a new PSC cure my problems? HP has a new household model Deskjet 2514 that would suit my needs. The reviews are good. I don't need speed, just function.

If I buy a new PSC, will the scan function work as it should?
Also, the tiny print in MS word...is that a printer or computer problem?
I have tried to figure this out and have gone to several web sites and find either no answer or something that I know I will mess up. Actually, I tried and did mess it up.
I envy those of you to whom computers are as easy as breathing. Just this old lady talking. I remember when the first calculator came out. 4 functions, +,-,x'and divide. $119.00. Boy how things have changed.

Run Windows XP, sp3
Mozilla browser.

I have asked for help before and I thank you all. I can't seem to get this together and a repair tech is out of the question right now.
