Just another false equivalency (the draft being a huge part of what was going on in 1968).

I have so much I could say on this I'm frankly stymied as even knowing where to begin. I'm really glad you brought this up, though.

It won't be like 1968 because back then there were artists, and people who really did live in communes, and people who played music on the street, and people who lived hand to mouth with their friends, and a whole boatload of people who were freaking scared of the draft and of people like J. Edgar Hoover and Mayor Daley.

The "revolutionaries" today can certainly wreak their own kind of damage, but they are, at core, very different people, I think.
