Dems' new fear: Sanders revolt could upend Democratic convention

17. The Big Lesson is "NEVER AGAIN."

NEVER AGAIN must the Democratic Party allow itself to be used as a vehicle to the Presidency by someone who has not only never been a Dem until five minutes before his campaign began but who has spent most of his political career berating Democrats.

There must be a minimum time requirement as a functioning and successful Democratic politician before one can jump into a Presidential race as a Democratic candidate.

It may not necessarily be required for other positions. But for President, it must be a requirement. If there were ever any doubt, 2016 shows just how much a time requirement is needed.

The silver lining is that these situations have shown that a Sanders Presidency would be a disaster, even if that disaster might be at least slightly better than the unmitigated disaster of a Trump Presidency.
