3. Nothing he does or can do will win him the nomination. Nothing.

I know it's easy to believe that this will damage Democrats, but the only one Bernie is damaging is himself. No one at the convention is going to help him achieve anything if this is how he's behaving. And I think he can kiss a committee chairmanship if the Democrats retake the Senate goodbye, at this point. Hopefully a Democratic Primary challenger in Vermont emerges also, because I think Bernie needs to be challenged more forcefully going forward.

And once Bernie is out, then we can focus on the historic nomination and the general election, while Sanders slinks back to Vermont. The media is making all of this into something it is not. Sanders has no power, no leverage, and now, no integrity. What Democrats are going to want to be caught on the side of the man who endorsed violence by his supporters as Sanders did this week? Which Democrats are going to want to have to answer for that? He will influence nothing at the convention. I think the media is feeding him a lot of bullshit that inflates his ego, and he eats it right up.
