(587 posts)that the most insidiously evil thing you can do to someone is to patronize them.
It happens to the black community often, in sometimes very subtle ways.
Even things like overly praising someone or taking their side when they are wrong are evidential of that.
Sometimes that subtle, latent feeling boils over like it did in this asshole's post... that feeling is bubbling below the surface for many of the people who consider themselves champions of racial equality.
I find it utterly shocking that so many of these BS supporters are absolutely unwilling to accept that someone else can be smart, kind, educated, successful or any other positive characteristic but just see things differently than them or have different values.
The mere suggestion that someone could not like Bernie or not want him in office seems to be like telling them 2+2 = 5. They just can't comprehend how someone can think such a thing and they almost immediately get angry and go negative.
There are some truly great days ahead. June 7th will be one. The day Bernie endorses Hillary will be another. The convention will be another. And election day will be another.
So many succulent and precious moments to look forward to
