4. ANY Democrat would be crazy NOT to vote for Bernie if he's the nominee

Just like any Democrat would be crazy not to vote for Hillary if she's the nominee-

After all, in 6 months' time, we WILL have a nominee who either will be our next president or lose to a nut case right wing whacko who will choose Supreme Court justices who WILL negate abortion rights, voting rights and civil rights.

I've read enough posts on both sides to say that the Sanders supporters definitely do not WANT a Trump or a Cruz in the White House. The fact that even one of them is willing to risk that just to not vot for Hillary if she is the nominee is scary.

There are plenty of reasonable Sanders supporters in DU. After all, I find that many of his positions ARE reasonable. Granted, some of the rhetoric gets old, and there are (last I looked) 1,752 billionaires in the USA. That leaves an awful lot of people who are not, and I can't see concentrating a whole campaign on 1752 people.

As for Hillary, yes, she could probably do a credible job, and no, she is probably not as completely beholden to evil powers as is often claimed. But she does bring some baggage that should be confronted rather than swept under the table. These things have a way of resurfacing when you least want them to. Better to confront them head on and get it out of the way.

On the other hand, there was just a post in a group where some nasty, self-righteous warrior banned me from posting, calling you Hillary supporters "insecure," "religious in your devotion to her," "immature and childish," and "extremely dogmatic." This is EXACTLY the impression I get of the more fanatic of the Sanders supporters (shortage of mirrors, maybe), and on DU, at least, that appears to be most of them. Luckily not all of them are like that, and the reasonable ones make good points that deserve NOT to be ignored.

Maybe someone should start a "shouting-free zone" group where Bernie supporters, Hillary supporters, O'Malley supporters and undecideds (like me) can toss comments and observations around without getting torn to shreds by attack dogs who apparently are unaware of the concept of civility. I would have thought such a group could have been called DU, but that notion got dispelled a long time ago.
