if each and every person voted in their own best interests during the primaries and the general election.

This is the fight that goes on for the nominee that we actually want which allows us in good conscience to vote for the "lesser of two evils" in November. The bluster you see right now from all sides will subside once the nominee is apparent. The small number of sore losers remaining will be proven to be disingenuous shit-stirrers.
