are doomed to repeat it.Truer words have never been spoken about their sentiment and the outcome it would lead to.

What we have observed in this election is an enormous amount of revisionist history going on. There are so many anti Democratic threads that it is impossible to keep up. It is only from the protected sanctity of the freedoms we fought for and now enjoy that there are those who would claim the two parties have the same ideals. They did not live through or remember what it was like to live without the basic rights we have so painstakingly achieved. I am convinced their intentions are sincere but they simply do not know. Even worse, some seem to think those of us who would tell them otherwise are blinded by the same degree of devotion to our candidate that they are to theirs. No. Most of us are not. We will fight to the end for either Democratic candidate because we know and have lived through just how bad the alternative would be.

Many of the supporters who seem the most unhinged truly believe the half truths upon which they are basing their protest. No matter how much "research" they are claiming to do, it is immediately apparent that some of what they find is either of the confirmation bias variety, woefully uninformed or from untrustworthy sources. That is one of the frustrations for many who have lived through and remember just how very different any of our Democratic candidates are from the Republicans and certainly from Trump.

I cannot subject the people of this country to another Republican regime. I cannot subject this country or, for that matter, the people of the world to Trump. And, I will fight like hell to protect the same people who would throw Hillary and the rest of the nation under the bus from having to live with the consequences of their reckless actions. Sometimes I feel like a parent trying to prevent a child from hurting themselves.
