We found ourselves here again, diving into new music as a way of cleansing our minds and bodies from the stress and uncertainty these times are bringing to us. We all need a break from reality, or at least something that will keep us company while we are trapped in the new normal. Peruvian artists haven’t stopped putting out music, even in the adversity they’re facing now, which is not only a pandemic, but also the lack of action from a government that hasn’t yet established ways of helping the music industry workers yet, after more than two months of total lockdown. Yet music keeps moving us, even when it is taken for granted.
