1. I've been watching projects like this fail for more than fifty years now.

I don't expect anything is going to change in the years I have left.

Me and the hydrogen economy go back to the 'seventies and early eighties. I knew personally some who were promoting it, possibly to the point where they dreaded seeing me -- especially after I did the math (to my own satisfaction) and decided the idea was not viable.

Much like the issue of fusion power some people must figure a hydrogen economy hasn't come about because we are not trying hard enough.

I figure the universe is against it.
