6. English water suppliers were privatised in the 90s

This is their trade association complaining their core business could get problems from another business. Originally, they were all publicly listed companies, with customers getting a few shares at a discount price in the privatisation, but now half of them are owned by Hong Kong, Malaysian, and Australian corporations, or by privately-owned British ones.
