She needs to show that she actually believes what she says. Her platforms have changed quite a bit over the years and it is easy to assume it's more because she wants to be president than because she actually believes these things.

People don't like candidates that are two-faced in this way. Even if they agree with what they actually believe. People vote for a person and not for their ability at politicking.
