Yeah. You can’t say it without sounding stupid and no one says that about molesting priests. I always wondered about that.

While I do not share the magical side, I do share the friends and family plan. I met some very nice witches from a local coven in Salem. I found them engaging, responsive and deeply informed. They were wonderful helping us navigate the museum covering the witch trials and gave us an in-depth view, not only of events but of the lacking in the individual displays at the museums and how much of it was for for tourist effect instead of actual history. I offered to send them a card in thanks but they would not tell me the name of their coven or any way to reach them. I understood and I left them a nice tip.

Your neighbor problem is likely more that you are from out of town and not a local. I saw that first hand in various towns in New England where everybody knows everybody else and again in Pennsylvania where everybody appears to be a cousin of everybody else and conversations generally start with, “I think you may be related to my cousin...” and things naturally take off from there. Turns out they actually are cousins.

It helps if you bake and you take a pie and visit, especially the local gossips. Staves off the burning another day, anyway Birds of prey help with crows - there is a bird of prey outfit online called falconforce.com or you might google “how to attract birds of prey to my yard” - either will help you with crows.

I personally do not consider crows bad luck. These are very intelligent birds with a history of displaying excellent counting skills and problem-solving intelligence. You can google that, too, it’s incredible. Like other animals, they do need to be managed as they like to eat regularly, too and that’s frequently in conflict with farming for profit.
