but the original Swedish/Danish version is much better than the others. The title in English is The Bridge.

Borgen isn't a mystery but it's a fabulous series.

The original "Killing" on which the US version was based was called "Forbrydelsen." It was also MUCH MUCH better than the US copy.

"Trapped" was a series from Iceland that took everyone by surprise last year and won all kinds of awards - and deserved them!

There was a series last year with international backing called "Fortitude" which was a bit wacky, but very watchable. Set in a fictional Scandinavian outpost. Stanley Tucci and some other great people were in it. I'm watching season 2 now but it's not as good as season 1 so far.

Let me know how you like them. I'm a little jealous that you get to see them for the first time.
