3. Our family's traditional Christmas Eve dinner.

Red, green and white spaghetti.

Standard red spaghetti sauce.

Loose sausage slowly rendered, fat discarded. Heavy cream added and reduced to a thick sauce.

Pesto from our garden.

Iceberg lettuce salad (the only time of the year we use iceberg) with tomatoes, cucumbers, avocadoes and croutons. Ken's Steakhouse Italian dressing (again, the only time of the year for that.)
