and often just a little too mellow for their own good. The upside is that I never had one show up with an abscess, unlike the shorthair cats with worse dispositions.

I do think the problem will be self limiting once Coonie outgrows that silver tabby. Just arching her back and puffing out all that fur should do it. The tail alone will make it look like there are two angry cats there.
