28. The hardest part of ...

.. our relationship with our furry family members is the contract that we make with them. We know going in that in all probability, we will outlive them. The knowledge doesn't really soften the reality tho, beyond being able to share your pain, as you have done here, with us, who have gone through it ourselves.

Our 11 year old Shih Tzu, Charlie passed a couple of weeks ago and even though we have a house full of other pets, there's a hole left that will remain. We share in your sorrow at your loss and thank you that you honor us with your memories.
