We sat down to eat dinner that night and she sat down next to me and immediately lost it all.

I’ve cleaned up some awful messes in my life between having pets and kids, but that one ranked right up there as one of the worst! What is so appealing about that to dogs defies explanation! I am glad you taught Shadow to leave it alone! I’ll bet she’s a fast learner.
