the vet asked me if I had ever given catnip to her. The cat tended to get anxious at vet visits. (Still does and she is 6 years old now). The vet said that a small amount might relax her.

I said that I was concerned about her being too young. The vet chuckled and said that it's not like with humans and underage using. As long as the cat was weaned, healthy and well, it would not harm her.
