at having a say so in the General Elections for President. I will still vote and try to get people around me to vote, but we are solid red.

Working hard now to get people I associate with to vote Jones. I'm in College but because I spent the last 8 years in the Service I'm 4-8 years older than most of my College friends. Trying to convince them to go vote on the 12th to make sure Moore don't win is like pulling teeth. They were all for voting for Hillary but for some reason don't see the importance of this special election coming up between Jones and Moore. I've gotten a few to commit and am working on others. Hopefully we can win this thing. I'm fearful that if only older people vote, Moore is going to win. Younger people hate him but are not taking this vote serious : (

As for politicians - I feel they don't know crap about firearms. Depending on which side of the isle they work, they vote on gun laws whichever way the political wind blows.

Thanks for your post. You're one of my favorite posters on DU. Always smart and informed.
