(15,396 posts)94. There's always the "for my personal safety" that's a pretty good reason
for anyone....if you care about your person and loved ones that's all that's necessary for getting a self defense firearm.
If you like to target shoot that's reason enough.
If you like to hunt that's reason enough.
If you want to collect firearms that's reason enough.
If you want to invest and sell them at a higher price that's reason enough (but you'd better be careful most will only fetch 80% of their value)
