9. Good grief. They just don't get it.

Like when the American Legion trolled the new house titles records and saw that we used a VA loan to buy our house.

They sent the junk mail offering membership...

To my husband, who has never served.

I sent them a nasty reply informing them that I didn't do business with people who made the stupid sexist assumption that the VA loan came through a man. And besides, I wouldn't have joined them, even if they'd not been so damned stupid. After all, I knew what those fuckers were doing for J Edgar Hoover back in the day with the spying on liberals and brown people. Die in a fire, you fucking traitors.
