I work i a hardware store, and I'm accustomed to women coming in for tools, projects, and repairs. They don't get treated like the "little woman along for the ride."

They often finish the statement with, "He has other talents, but handiwork isn't one of them."

There are times when I have to politely acknowledge the husband and bring him into the process.
