In reply to the discussion: I'm watching the O'Malley Announcement ... [View all]JustAnotherGen
(37,981 posts)45. Not for me
O'Malley is going to need to explain himself, address the 1033 program, and admit he was wrong.
Clinton is going to have to explain very clearly how she would act in the face of genocide.
Sanders needs to address the black, Hispanic, Asian Indian, Asian etc etc upper middle class and beyond - are we equal to the Kochs? Or is our wealth - and accomplishments - are those things fragile? Is a single lesbian woman in her late 50's with a half a million in a retirement account - were her earnings hard won? She made less - so she will get less in social security than her male counterpart. Will he protect her retirement account?

I think O'Malley's gun positions are a net negative in a general election.

It's a shame how common that's becoming. People trashing GD. I have seen so many others do that too

It seems impossible to discuss the age factor without enraging both Clinton and Sanders supporters

I don't know if anyone is worried. Bill Clinton and O'Malley go back a long ways.
