Except two things ...
1) Apparently, the poor (both economically and poor in spirit) believe that conservatism IS in their interests (possibly because they have convinced themselves that Black people will be cut off of the expanded Medicaid making more space for whites and that is what is important to them ... and when they get cut off; well, it's because too Blacks are on Medicaid).
2) Conway lost by 9 points, if every single black person in Kentucky had voted TWICE it WOULD have made a difference in that election. Assuming those Black people voted for the Democratic candidate; rather than, writing in the Independent Social Worker Gatewood Galbraith (Newman), (formerly Terrill Wayne Newman), the clear liberalist candidate in the race. (And if, as some DUers insist, DU's "PoC" are representative of the real world ... 
... that might be an unwise/unfounded assumption.)
